BitLocker will protect your data on your computers and even your USB drives by encrypting your data, protecting your information if a device is ever lost or stolen.
BitLocker uses an encryption algorithm with a 128-bit key or 256-bit key to encrypt disk volumes. It protects the data if a hard drive is stolen and someone else is trying to use it on another computer or when someone has physical access to the drive.
Windows 10, similar to previous versions, includes BitLocker Drive Encryption, so you can keep your data secure.
